On 30 January 2026, ANPS (Association Nationale des Premiers Secours) — a French non-profit that trains volunteers and the public in first aid and civil protection — was hit by a data breach when a complete SQL database dump was posted to the BreachForums hacking forum by a user operating as "marak".
The leaked archive was roughly 1.06 GB in size and contained personal records on volunteers, staff and people the association had trained. ANPS self-submitted the data to Have I Been Pwned and stated the incident was traced back to a legacy system, adding that no health data, financial information or passwords were affected.
The exposed data included:
- Email addresses (around 5,600 unique addresses)
- Full names and salutations
- Dates of birth
- Places of birth
Have I Been Pwned added the breach to its index on 10 February 2026. The association characterised the compromised store as a legacy system and indicated the exposure was limited to identity and contact details, with no sensitive medical, financial or credential data involved.
