Yomoni contests the data leak involving 443,000 customers

Yomoni

On 30 April 2026, Yomoni — a French online savings and managed-portfolio platform (robo-advisor) — was named in a hacking-forum post in which an actor claimed to hold and offer for sale a database of more than 443,000 customer records allegedly extracted from the company on 29 April 2026.

The threat actor circulated samples said to contain a broad range of personal information. No attack vector was disclosed, and no independent technical evidence has confirmed the authenticity of the database or its attribution to Yomoni.

According to the leaked samples, the exposed data was claimed to include:

  • Full names and gender
  • Email addresses and phone numbers
  • Postal addresses, postal codes and cities
  • Dates of birth
  • Internal customer identifiers
  • Tax-residency status

Yomoni publicly contested the claim. After technical investigation conducted with a cybersecurity specialist, the company stated that the distributed data samples "do not correspond, in any way, to information relating to its customers" and said it was able to dispute the elements relayed in the publication. As of disclosure, the breach remained unverified, and the data was described as potentially erroneous, outdated, or unrelated to the platform.
