On 10 February 2026, Birdee β an online savings and automated investment ("robo-advisor") platform developed by Gambit Financial Solutions and backed by BNP Paribas Asset Management β was named in a data-leak claim circulated on a cybercrime channel and recorded by the French breach tracker Fuites Infos.
According to the claim, an attacker extracted 13,016 unique customer accounts from two database files belonging to the service. As a savings and investment provider, Birdee holds customer records tied to financial accounts, making any leak of its client base sensitive.
The data allegedly exposed reportedly included:
- Customer account identifiers
- Personal contact and profile details associated with the accounts
The claim has not been independently confirmed by Birdee or by a regulator, and the attack vector, the exact scope of the records, and any breach-notification response remain unverified at the time of reporting. The incident is therefore recorded as a claimed breach pending confirmation.
