On 10 May 2026, Kams Paris — a Parisian niche perfumery founded in 1960 and based on the avenue de l'Opéra, trading online via kamsparis.com — became the subject of a forum post offering its customer database for sale on a cybercriminal marketplace.
The seller claimed to hold roughly 187,927 records of customer data and published a sample extract to substantiate the listing. The exact origin of the leak has not been publicly confirmed, and the data is being marketed as a one-time sale.
The exposed fields reportedly include:
- First and last names
- Postal addresses, postal codes and cities
- Phone numbers
- Dates of birth
- IBAN bank-account numbers
- Country and currency information, plus additional account details
While an IBAN alone does not allow funds to be withdrawn, the combination of full identity, contact and banking details creates a high risk of convincing phishing, fraudulent direct-debit attempts and identity theft. As of disclosure the database was still being offered for sale on the forum, and no official statement from Kams Paris had been reported, leaving the incident ongoing.
